Why the move from CVS House?
- While Rugby Credit Union began as a Rugby CVS "project" in 2004 it was always intended to become a "stand alone" operation, although remaining part of the voluntary sector.
- We needed a ground floor operation. This is not only a matter of convenience and efficiency for our staff, but necessary for those clients who cannot negotiate stairs.
- We needed to remain close to the town centre. While Little Church Street is a quiet side-street it is still close to the Clock Tower and the main shopping centre.
- We needed to be visible! The nature of CVS House restricted signage and many people in Rugby still do not know where we are. In our new office we will have our name on the front window.
