Loan sharks

We believe that it is vitally important that everyone has access to affordable, flexible credit. It’s fair and can help to stop people resorting to unregulated loan sharks or ‘door step’ moneylenders. Specialist debt advice

There are a number of agencies that offer free debt advice.

Locally,Bedworth,Rugby and Nuneaton Citizen Advice Bureau offers support via telephone, email and through outreach services. More information is available at or via their advice line 0808 2505715 which is open Monday to Friday,9am – 5pm.

Citizens Advice South Warwickshire offers advice and support to residents across the south of the county, including Leamington Spa, Stratford, Warwick and the surrounding areas. MoneyHelper is the new Government service, formed from The Money Advice Service, Pension Wise and The Pensions Advisory Service.  

It offers a range of resources, support and advice covering all things money, from pensions, energy saving grants and benefits to work and savings.
